Have you used
https://EasyVirtualChoir.com? It’s a game changer, super EASY and FREE! The software aligns audio/video tracks automatically and will save you lots of editing time. Many users say EasyVirtualChoir recreates a live choir experience for singers. It allows each singer to follow the conducting/reference video and peer sound tracks to sing along with. Choir director can evaluate/adjust individual recordings before exporting the final production video. The software has also been widely used for virtual rehearsals by which the choir director can quickly evaluate each singer and provide timely feedback. No need to send files around, everything is done within the app. After everyone finishes singing, the choir video can be created in just a few minutes. The entire process is so intuitive, simple and fast for both choir director and singers, that most k-12 school music teachers have got a video created after just one class period. Virtual choir and online rehearsals have become so much easier with EasyVirtualChoir. Hope this free resource will be helpful to your ensemble too!

Beauty & the 'Burg host Cindy Stovall has a fantastic lineup of guests for her next show THIS Thursday including Jon Arterton and James Mack of One City Chorus - St. Petersburg. The One City Chorus specializes in a timely blend of songs about social justice, civil rights, diversity and equality. Their performances have been described as “joyous, uplifting and beautifully sung” by Creative Loafing who honored them with a Best of the Bay Award for “Best Voices Raised Together in Song.” They were founded in October 2016 by their conductor Jon Arterton with the belief that singing in a group builds community and leads to better understanding among people. It welcomes people of all races, cultures, creeds and communities to sing with them. In this, their fourth season they have already become a community institution.

Mail Ballot Drop Off
I encourage all of you to take advantage of this opportunity. There are more than a dozen drop off locations in Pinellas County. Fill out your ballot, shield and seal it, and drop it off at one of the locations identified in the mail ballot packet. I, personally, am one of the people manning the drop off locations. We (there are always two of us) collect the ballots in a sealed box during the day. Each evening we transport the ballots under seal to the Supervisor of Elections, where they are accepted. Within a day you will know that your ballot has arrived if you check on votepinellas.com...
I am also a poll worker on election day. The procedures we follow are stringent and I have high confidence that we can have a fair process in our county.
Since it's election season, we are switching it up for the next Beauty & the 'Burg and talking about the politics of art! The discussion will be on the importance of voting and key issues affecting artists, art in schools, and more. Host Cindy Stovall has a fantastic lineup of guests including:
> Florida Representative Jennifer Webb;
> Executive Director of the Dr. Carter G. Woodson African American Museum, Terri Lipsey Scott,
> Larry Biddle, Board Chair of The Plus Projec+ and,
> Jon Arterton and James Mack of One City Chorus - St. Petersburg
PLUS artist John L Gascot will be doing a live painting during the show that will be up for auction! Tune in on October 22nd!

Hello! I'm an assistant producer working to develop this feature-length documentary. If this sounds relevant to you, or if you'd like to find out more, please don't hesitate to get in touch. Thank you
Four of us live in same same building — Kathy, Jane, Teresa &me. Since we sing all 3 parts we’ve been rehearsing in the shade of our parking structure—with proper distancing of course. We even brought one observer to tears with “One Day.” Hopefully not because it was terrible! Stay safe everyone.
Music brings people together ❤️🌎
I remember watching this when I was a kid.
I thought I would share this now during this time of uncertainty. I miss you all One City Chorus!
Hope we can get back together soon. 🎶🎶🎶
Hope you’re all staying safe & healthy 🙏🏼💪🏼
What a beautiful mission your chorus has! Without diversity, it is quite difficult to create something that is meaningful to all. I just learned about a movie that is being showcased on the opening night of the Gasparilla International Film Festival (GIFF) in Tampa. It’s called Lovebirds and it stars Issa Rae and Kumail Nanjiani! This is a mystery romantic comedy that depicts an interratial couple that does not include a white person. This beautiful duo takes on a murder mystery as their love story unravels. This film is certainly a step in the right direction and it sends a powerful message to others that it’s time to be much more inclusive in the arts. This film festival seems very exciting and it runs March 17th-22nd! I hope you get the time to check it out!

Beautiful pictures of our concert by Kaybrophoto! ❤️❤️❤️
Last night I enjoyed a well sung and VERY meaningful, reflective choral performance by the St Pete's One Cit Chorus and the choir of the Unitarian Universalists Clearwater. At the reception afterwards, I briefly talked with one of the black Ministers who participated. She reminded me of a well-known speech/talk he that is VERY relevant today. Sadly most of what he mentioned STILL is relevant today. Listen to it at:
