Uploading the song takes minutes. Letting people hear that part of you takes courage.

Lately I’ve really been enjoying taking black-and-white photos on my camera. The same camera I let collect dust for about two to three years. Apparently it needed an extended adjustment period before joining the family. 😂

I originally bought it to start vlogging, then realized it was better suited for photography. Instead of exploring what I could do with it, I put it away. I do regret that a little. There were so many moments I could’ve captured and ideas I could’ve brought to life while it sat there.

But I finally picked it up, and now I’m finding something I really enjoy. There’s something about black-and-white photos that makes me pay closer attention to light, expression, and the little details. I’m finally getting my money’s worth, and giving myself more reasons to bring my camera along.

La mia vita è una playlist: un po’ di romanticismo, un po’ di caos e una canzone triste che non riesco a saltare. 🎶😂

Somehow I’ve gotten funnier lately. I would’ve preferred a quieter life, but apparently I was given material. 😂 I’ve even talked to a couple of friends about trying stand-up comedy. Some of these stories deserve a microphone.

I took a comedy and literature class in college, and learning about the history of comedy made me realize how much we use humor to express ourselves. Sometimes you’re joking, but you’re also telling someone exactly how you feel.

There are things I can laugh about now that I couldn’t have laughed about then. That feels like growth. The possibility of a room full of strangers laughing with me feels like a questionable but exciting next step.

Ose te faire entendre. 🌊🎙️
Dare to let yourself be heard.

Sharing your music can feel like opening a window into a room you’ve kept private. Let yourself feel nervous and press play anyway. Someone may recognize a piece of their own life in the words you almost kept to yourself. Give the song a chance to reach them, and give yourself the chance to grow from being heard.
