Short and sweet... All is well here at my place in Florida. Now again accepting guests. Water, Power, Internet back on. We had some damage in my community which was awful, but everyone is safe.

Grateful for my A/C and no longer having to boil water.

I'm headed out of my manufactured home community to go stay with my brother until this is over, he has a sturdy house in the highest elevation in St Pete. I'll keep up on FB as long as I can. Most likely the power will go out. If we have cell phone access we'll update FB from there.

Thank you friends and family for reaching out to make sure that I am okay. Let's all pray and hope the damage is minimal. After Helene, the people here do not need any more damage. The other towns along the East Coast should be spared. They've had quite a bit of damage, too (homes and businesses destroyed).

While we're at it, pray for those across the ocean. Daily terror and bombing is going on there. Mother Nature and Man's Evil Doing is a dangerous combination.

Like Dorothy, I just keep saying, "There's no place like home."

We'll see you all on the other side! Stay safe and dry!!
