Rain can symbolize many things.
It can represent unhappiness, rebirth, foreboding, determination, the breaking of a drought, and a pause for introspection.
When it comes to the symbolic meaning of storms, there comes about a kind of frenetic energy.
The unpredictability, high-charged, almost hyper energy. ///

4 years ago today I signed a lease for a space at 689 Dr MLK JR Street North in St Petersburg, FL. It was the start of MIZE Gallery and the beginning of many exhibits, connections, inspirations, and lots of love. At that time, I had no idea what this space would become. I’m so proud of what @mizegallery has accomplished over these last 4 years. As we come into the 45th exhibit at MIZE, I’m touched at all the magic moments shared. Thx to everyone who has been a part over these past years. XO

Artist Chad Mize, owner of MIZE Gallery, is a prolific creative in the Sunshine City. In addition to creating transfixing large scale works around downtown St. Pete, such as the virbant Twiggy mural, Mize has used his space to uplift and showcase emerging artsts in the Tampa Bay region. You'll also soon see his Mr. Sun mural on the side of the new Sunrunner bus from Pinellas Suncoast Transit Authority.
