Great time with family & friends today in the Gulf of Mexico. Memories for life. Limit of red snapper, a couple of awesome bonus fish, and red grouper released for another day. Thanks Trae for the intel!
We started the morning with snapper and with persistence we got lucky with this one!
Catching Fish and giving them my number! Absolutely love being on the water. We caught snapper, one cobia, and several red grouper we released for a better day. 😎🎣 .morgans_adventures_
Get the grill ready! Great time as always fishing on the ‘Mas Fina’ today. My favorite way to cook cobia lately has been skin on and on the Green Egg. What’s your favorite recipe? .morgans_adventures_
Late afternoon outing of fishing leads to fish diet for the week. Thanks for the invite. Counting my blessing and keeping only what we can eat fresh.
One of my favorites to catch and eat! Great scouting trip with yesterday aboard the ‘Mas Fina’. We fished areas we never fished before and caught all the red snapper you wanted and these jumbo mangrove snapper!
Its been a year since I snook fished on the ‘Mas Fina.’ Fishing with Danielle on Saturday Sept 2. And the rod went off screaming drag and Danielle was scared to grab it. But since then Danielle has landed a 300lb Marlin so I know next time she will not be as hesitant.
Next week should be the last great permit bite of the summer! God will touch the water next week. I am wide open with no charters for next week. Getting some much needed rest today but in the coming days all my attention will be set to getting the ‘Mas Fina’ ready for some snapper and permit action. Looking to create memories for life!!
The mangrove snapper where 🔥fired up yesterday . Three generations on the boat for a half day and the bite did not disappoint. Matt, Hayden, Mike, & Marsha had constant action and we where able to beat the heat. We also caught yellowtail snapper, hog snapper, and so many short red groupers. So much fun with this crew from Virginia; I hope to have them on the ‘Mas Fina’ again. Memories for life!!

On August 4, 1953, Alfred Glassell, Jr. set the IGFA All-Tackle World Record for black marlin that still holds today, exactly 70 years later. Glassell caught this massive 707.61-kilogram (1,560-pound) black marlin while trolling a mackerel in Cabo Blanco, Piura, Peru. A famed angler and conservationist, Glassell, Jr. was featured on the cover of Sports Illustrated in 1954, awarded the International Oceanographic Foundation Marine Science Award in 1971 and was inducted into the IGFA Hall of Fame in 2001. Glassell Jr.'s contributions to sportfishing and science will always be remembered and appreciated.

We caught a little bit of everything aboard the ‘Mas Fina’. When it gets hot so does my fishing! I just got back from Costa Rica for the first time ever and I didn’t miss a beat. Cant wait to do it again. .
When I find the permit and redfish together I make sure they kiss so that they stay together longer! Great time with Danielle and friends.
I was lucky to have Mike Smith & Brad entertaining clients on the ‘Mas Fina.’ The snapper bite was tough in the morning but persistence with the permit bite paid off. We didn’t crush but Brad got his first permit ever!
Great fishing with the Chen family from Atlanta aboard the ‘Mas Fina.’ Double and triple hookups and plenty of snapper in the mix to eat!
What a great time it was fishing with Bob, Sheri, & Mitch aboard the ‘Mas Fina’. A three person limit of red snapper, a nice mahi mahi, and ended the day with a permit for Bob. Late post from last week but still fresh in my mind like it was yesterday. The pursuit of multiple species helps beat the heat with long boat rides but a full day is needed. Its always a challenge and adventure; thats what makes it fun… thats why I love it! 🎣😎 .416
The Compton’s catch a little bit of everything aboard the ‘Mas Fina.’ The Summertime strategy of boat movement to beat the heat has allowed for various different species to be caught in one single day! 🎣Memories for life. 🎣.
Smiles for days aboard the ‘Mas Fina’. Snapper for dinner and permit for sport. I had the pleasure to guide David from Nashville; and on the second day he brought his family. Memories for life 🎣
What a spectacular day fishing with Jan and Corey aboard the ‘Mas Fina’. Jan wanted a hogfish and Corey wanted a Tarpon and I accepted the challenge. With the Full Moon the bite has been late; but I wanted to start early, so I definitely had time to kill. We started off the mornings looking for permit and tuna and the tuna panned out well. From there we went and found Jan’s hog snapper and we got that off the checklist. From that moment on I had the Tarpon on my mind. We rushed back in from offshore to catch the tarpon crab flush. We gave the Tarpon an hour and we needed just one more hour. Anyways the day was a huge success. I absolutely love targeting multiple species and in the summer it is so important for beating the summer heat. Boat movement and transition means air conditioning through boat ride. 😎🎣
Such a great time snapper fishing the Clarke family and friends aboard the ‘Mas Fina’. Non Stop fishing action and fish dinner for weeks! 😎🎣. This family always crushes the fish. Love them so much.
Jordan brought his boys and his dad Tim. Super special just knowing there was three generations on the boat. Sporty getting out but applying Occam’s Razor always works. 😎 I loved having these kids on the boats and its an awesome feeling creating memories for life! 🎣
Great times with Gordon & Ashton aboard the ‘Mas Fina’ this past weekend. You gotta love summertime in Florida. My favorite time of the year. Thank you Pablo for entrusting your clients with me.
Greg & Evette are in the house and some good ones where brought aboard the ‘Mas Fina’. They shared some fish and the fish diet is in full effect🎣😎.
Finally had the opportunity to fish with my brother Fernando and friends. Targeted species was red snapper, red grouper, mangrove snapper, & permit and we got em all. My brother wanted to catch mangrove snapper and thats what we spent the majority of the day doing🔥🎣! Hard to beat the weather and company and cant wait to do it again.
Great bite yesterday aboard the ‘Mas Fina’. I had only 6 hours to get it done so we did the snapper game catching yellowtail snapper, mangrove snapper, amberjack, red grouper, and lost a tuna! By 2 o’clock we where at Red, White, & Booze cooking our catch.
These fish lead to happiness and I have availability this week!
Tarpon fishing can be a huge mix of emotions and frustrations but when it all comes together it finally makes sense. Late start to the ‘Tarpon Game’ this year but once connected the addiction level is extreme! The excitement consumes me and cant wait to do it again. 🎣
Summertime Snapper fishing can be addicting. Matt had the hot hand on the mangrove snapper last week! Love me some almacos and yellowtail snapper too. We ended the day with a yellowtail snapper bigger then our keeper red grouper 😎🎣
Just looking at these pictures and seeing the slick glass blue water conditions of the Gulf of Mexico gets me excited! Been doing the snapper and grouper thing for the last two weeks. Red Snapper season for me opens June 1st and open till August 25th. The Federal for-hire reef fish permit is 85 days in federal waters of the Gulf of Mexico. .swim
All Bueno Today. First thing this morning Capt. Pablo and boys stepped onto the ‘Mas Fina’ with !! We warmed up the crew with the bonitas to perfect their fishing form. 😎🎣. Plan B was to get everyone some snapper for dinner; Mangrove and Yellowtail snapper joined the party. From there we decided to use the bonita for bait for some Goliath Grouper; and last but not least we crossed off the permit. Great and epic day. We did this all in a 3/4 day. Memories for life! Wish it could be that easy everyday 🤣
Today was a good day! Last weeks fish dinners had me craving more fish. 🔥🎣
The ‘San Carlos Fishing Cottage’ is alive and well. Come stay with us https://www.airbnb.com/h/san-carlos-fish-shack.
I have been sitting on this secret for a while and am so exited to share it with you all! I recently bought my dream fishing cottage in one of my favorite places to fish in Florida- Near Boca Grande Pass. This place is a true escape which breeds relaxation, charm, and world class fishing. I started airbnbing it, but wanted to share this majestic oasis with my friends and family who are looking for a truly authentic escape.
Waterfront canal home with dock and privacy provided by the mangroves on both sides of the dock. When you come here you step back in time and get to experience what Florida truly is.
As St. Pete and Tampa become more of a metropolis, and the traffic becomes worse each day, I’ve been finding the escape to a quiet and slower pace so good for my mind and soul. Not to mention the world class fishing. You can drive your boat, trailer a boat, or book a charter with me. I’m offering discounts to those who book directly with me. Private message me for more details and come experience the wonder, beauty, and magic of ‘San Carlos Fishing Cottage.’
The last outing on the ‘Mas Fina’ before the big wind blow 💨. Great times with some of my favorite people and favorite fish!
The beauty of fishing is the bonds and memories you make. Fishing can be a lot of work but the key is to always have fun!!
🔥The fishing continues to be on 🔥🎣.Mr Cobia made a visit for Alex and friends yesterday . Great variety which included cobia, kingfish, permit, spanish mackerel, snapper, and grouper. @rhodanmarine
Great variety with Tim and crew! Few openings next week and the bite is on fire🔥! I have only been fishing three days this Spring and my pulse with the water will only get better. These kids where worn out after an afternoon half day trip. Always fun and thanks Rob for trusting us with your fishing adventures.
Its great to be back on the water. Fishing is as good as gets in Tampa Bay right now. Capt. Pablo brought his friends and clients to enjoy an awesome day on the ‘Mas Fina.’
Great crew aboard the ‘Mas Fina’ today. All the kingfish we wanted till 9:30 am followed with some snapper fishing from 10am-12pm. Feels great to be back on the water!
Last time out… itching to get back out. I bet every fisherman in Florida is enthusiastic and waiting for March. Meantime in February we will have hog snapper and red grouper. Booking for 2023!!
The Greene Family getting there Family Christmas Fishing in for the Fourth year in a row! Great times with great people.🎣🎣
