It’s Thursday, so I’ll drag my broken ass to Ferg's Sports Bar & Grill, where I get to sit next to Lee Money while we conduct another Tampa Bay Dream Team Trivia Night.
Hey, hey, THURSDAY. Howzit?! We're doing fairly decent over here at Tampa Bay Dream Team International Headquarters, that much we can tell you. And we're looking forward to this evening, when we will put on a lil' show over at Ferg's Sports Bar & Grill, because we're expecting about 103 of our friends to show up for another Tampa Bay Dream Team Trivia Night.
We've been itching to get back to Ferg's ever since the last time we were all able to gather. And we want you all to join in on the fun, because (in addition to the whole 'fun' thing) there are prizes to be won by three very smart teams. We always reward the top three teams with prizes redeemable right there at Ferg's: $35, $25, and $15 worth of FERG BUCKS goes to teams that finish in first, second, and third places, respectively.
Last time, it was thee who came to play and win! And they snagged control of the TBDT Weekly Trivia Champions' Trophy. Join in the fun along with teams like , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , and many more will be coming for that trophy.
Hosted by our man with a plan, Lee Money and his unfortunate-looking pal Just John. Everything starts at 7:00. Don't miss it!
And remember,... people are amazing. It seems like every day, someone accomplishes something that's never been done before. It's inspiring, honestly. And, say, that segue will bring us right to our Ferg's of a question and answer for tonight's game. Did you know that American woman GERTRUDE EDERLE – who was just nineteen years old at the time, but had already won three Olympic medals – became the first woman to swim the English Channel, breaking the men’s record by nearly two hours on this day, August 5, 1926? Well, it's true. And now that you have a bit of info to help you out during tonight's game, perhaps your Thursday can be fairly decent too.
