Artist Spotlight: Ken Irwin, Studio 115
Ken Irwin went to the Boston Museum School in 1968 and Massachusetts College of Art in 1975 with focus in painting. He has taught fine arts (oil painting, watercolor, drawing and aesthetics) full-time in the state college system for 10 years. Ken has been painting for the past 40 years almost always in oils.
He now paints daily in my studio in his studio, Studio 115, at Arts at 400.
When Ken began his studies in painting during the late sixties and mid-seventies, there was a lot of tension between objective and non-objective abstract painting. This tension continues to be revealed in my work. He uses high-keyed, bright colors and design elements typical of more abstract work but remain with realistic subjects with mood and very human qualities.

We've got August/Ann Jewelry with a doodle art activity, Dylan Todd Photography with have a spring themed selfie spot and artist Adam Turkel will have a sampling of the collaborations he created with the students at Woodlawn Elementary on public display for the first time, as well as hosting a collaborative painting session with my helper Evie at 6pm for any kids young or old that want to work with us.

Erin Griffin’s (August/Ann Jewelry) has her doodle creature setup for guests to play in the main gallery and Dylan Todd Photography is pairing with Weddings for florals/decor for his selfie spot in his studio 105.
Artist Spotlight: Debbie Bright, Studio 113
Debbie Bright is a local artist who works in various mediums including painting on canvas, mixed media and pours.
Debbie is working on a new series of works focused on Florida Wildlife in a mosaic style. Visit during Second Saturday Art Walk or by appointment to get a glimpse of her work-in-progress as well as viewing many of her wonderful series of works.

Artist Spotlight: Juulix, Studio 116
Juulix is a multimedia artist located in studio 116. When Juulix moved to Art At 400, her goal was to "create a cohesive body of artwork".
She has accomplished that goal while finding a sense of personal style inspired by graffiti, bold colors, and her love for portraiture. Most of her current work starts as acrylic on canvas, then expands to include found objects and different mediums as each piece is created.
