Well, it looks like I am going to be doing that art show at Jannus Landing landing this Sunday. I would love to find somebody to share a tablespace with if anybody is out there. We could also split some of the time. The Show goes 10:00 to 4:00, Nov. 6. Any takers?

My art show got bumped up and I am looking for pug or paranormal pet themed art for art lofts in october. Free. Art sold goes directly to artists and I do ask that they donate up to 20% of their sales to either Pug Rescue of Florida or Compassionate Pug Rescue. [email protected] for questions for details.

It is located at ArtLofts, my studio, 208, and will be making its debut this Saturday for Second Saturday Art Walk.
The show will be running most likely through November 2nd. There is a People's choice award for the artists as well so you get to vote on your favorite piece. We will also have a guest book and you're welcome to share your ghost stories with us as well!

Hello out there Art People. I am looking for more information for the Northeast Journal Arts roundup. I am looking for art events where the Northeast Journal is distributed -- from Old Northeast over through Crescent Heights, downtown St Petersburg, The Edge District, the Warehouse District and the immediate surrounding areas. I really really ***really*** want to find shows that support local businesses. I love those shows that pop up in places that you would never expect them. I want to support local artists, so please send me your press releases with a little bit of art for possible publication. The first Arts Roundup is coming out in this edition of the Northeast Journal (keep your eyes out for it) and I could use all the support to keep supporting the arts.

I think the goddess may have been visiting me because the camera was sure acting choppy. I hope she likes this piece. I did examine Inuit art depicting her and they do show her as a mermaid. Some shows salmon finned, modern interpretation was orca, but I just decided to let my inspiration run with this. Her headdress is actually for dolphins, I did add the brown to her top because she's sometimes to pick it in a sealskin dress, and the found objects just kind of fit with her for whatever reason.
Good god, just three more to go. Mom asks if I'm damaging my hands and I probably am and I suspect early arthritis at least in the left hand, but what really hurts is the middle of my back. Those long muscles that run from the shoulder blades down. I'm glad we just have a few more left. However, she also asked me what I was going to be doing with my time after this and I honestly don't know. I like that this is kept me focused and on task. And I think most of the mermaids have come out looking really pretty cool.
