This month in YOET:
OCTOBER 2018 - New York City
“Between September and October 2018, this was the most concentrated time I’d ever gotten to spend in New York City, so I made a point of exploring all five boroughs. One of my favorite things to do when visiting the city is taking the ferry to New Jersey and sitting riverfront on the Hudson to look at the skyline.”
Published in conjunction with St. Petersburg Press, THE YEAR OF EXTRAORDINARY TRAVEL is a 138-page hardcover photo anthology with a splash of memoir following Becca McCoy’s experience of traveling somewhere every month for a year. Between September 2018 and August 2019, Becca McCoy traveled to 8 states in the US and 7 other countries with 5 different travel companions and sometimes alone. THE YEAR OF EXTRAORDINARY TRAVEL contains short tales and hundreds of photos celebrating the relationship-deepening, horizon-expanding, joy-inducing nature of travel, and the beauty of our diverse earth and common humanity.

SEPTEMBER 2018 - New York City / London, England / Normandy, France
“In these posts, the Year is being shared in calendar year order, so even though we’re 4 months to the “end,” this is the beginning! What became this extraordinary year began in September 2018 with an opportunity, a ‘yes,’ a support network, and an adventurous spirit.”
