🎉 SUGAR CREAM CLAY TURNED 2 YEARS OLD 🥺! 🎉

I can’t believe it’s been two years! It feels like just yesterday we opened the doors to this little clay-filled dream, not knowing the wild~n~crazy ride ahead! So many fun late nights in the studio, amazing events in our court yard, walls covered in clay from collaborations and celebrations! It’s been so sweet teaching all the beautiful people in St.Pete and beyond who have sat at our wheels and created at our tables making magical, cutie little things to cherish forever! This journey has been absolutely everything and is still is a dream every single day😭💗!!

THANK YOU to all our amazing customers who keep coming back, to our little clay staff/family, and to everyone who has supported Sugar Cream Clay through out all the years. Some of you have been around since day one (LYSM)🥲. Thank you for taking a class, buying my pottery at markets, coming to our events or just stopping by to hangout in our little safe space🩷! Every bucket spilled on the floor, pot that flies off the wheel and every un-expected kiln explosion is worth seeing the imperfectly perfect things you have made, and the memories you shared in the studio. It really means the world to me

BIG NEWS! 🥹💞 (if you didn’t know)

I guess now is as good a time as ever to finally share…we won BEST OF THE BAY!!! The awards ceremony was such a fun and unforgettable night, happening just before the two back-to-back hurricanes hit. I wasn’t sure when the right time to announce it would be, but with lots of encouragement, apparently the time is now!!

Sugar Cream Clay was named:

And I was honored with…

This truly means the world to me. We’re just a small business putting in the work every day, so to be recognized in this way feels so incredibly special.

THANK Y🙂U A MILLION X INFINITY 😭🩷!!!

This Localtopia was one for the books and so incredible in every way. Seeing so many come out to support St. Pete’s small businesses…especially after the hit our community has taken from the hurricanes, means the absolute world. Absolutely LOVED seeing all my familiar faces, OG fans, newbies discovering SCC for the first time and the occasional “I come back every year and buy something!” made my heart explode into pieces. You are the reason I keep going, and I seriously can’t thank you enough 💋. Thank you for keeping our community strong and hosting such a wonderful event 🩷🩷🩷

To answer a lot of questions in my dms: I won’t be putting the rest of my inventory on site for sale and as I run a shop on the daily, this is just a huge undertaking for me ~hope u love me n’ understand~ but I wiiiiill put some pots on my story for you to see what I have in-store!! Happy Halloweenie my Sugar Cream Clayers 🎃!

Just wanted to say THANK YOU so so much to everyone who joined us for our Halloween events this past weekend! From Boo Bash to Pay-What-You-Can Make and Glaze Night, we had an absolute blast and it was so nice creating and connecting with all of you and our community! A special shoutout to for an incredible night, the for an AMAZING street party and to our neighbors .daydream.stpete and for being the best and adding so much love and fun to the weekend. Can’t wait to do it all again next year and make more unforgettable memories! 🦇 👻 🎃 ✨

Join us for our annual BOO BASH party!

Don’t miss out on a weekend full of fun and community! 🎃 This Friday, from 6-10pm, we’re kicking things off with , followed by Halloween on Central and BOO BASH this Sunday, 12-5pm!

For both events, inside Sugar Cream Clay, we’ll be hosting a special “pay what you can” clay-making and pottery-painting event. It’s our way of giving back to our amazing community after the recent hurricanes. Plus, we’ll have donation-based activities like pumpkin painting, bracelet making, face painting, and a raffle with awesome prizes—proceeds will go directly to hurricane relief efforts! 🫶🏻

We are back open and missed you all SO much! 🩷

Please be patient with us as things will be slow for a bit as our very small team deals with things out of our control these past storms have brought us. Pottery pick-up times are set back by a few weeks. We will send you a text when your babies are all packed up and ready to go home! If you already got a text, come and get your babies!!

We are incredibly thankful and fortunate to share that Sugar Cream Clay had no major damage during the recent hurricane. Never thought our colorful cinder blocks would be used to secure the shop, during one of the most devastating back to back storms this city has seen. Our hearts go out to those in our community who weren’t as fortunate and who are suffering from loss 💔

We will be closed this Saturday, as we haven’t physically been back yet to assess our shop and home. We will reach out to reschedule classes & glaze nights and to make sure you are doing okay 🩷.

As we prepare to reopen our doors, we are committed to coming together and supporting those affected. When we open up again, we plan on rebuilding our community in any way we can while uplifting those in need. We are here for you and we love you so much St.Pete! 🫶🏻
