"After releasing a self titled debut album in 2012, The Karma Kicks followed it up with It’s All Gone Wrong in 2013. It jumps around from folk to rock to blues and back again. It will be interesting to see which one of those paths the band chooses to follow in the future or possibly they find a way to flawlessly blend them all together and carve out their niche within the ever expanding Twin Citie
s music scene." - Music That Isn't Bad

"The album had a big impact on the local scene and it was named one of top best local Minnesota albums of 2013. If that doesn’t sell I don’t know what does. Side note, this all happened in my backyard. I can proudly say I was there for that release as I live a stone’s throw away from the Turf. They have a garage sound but at times they show similarities to early Kings of Lion and they’ll likely surprise listeners with their folk material. It’s a mixed bag of pre-polished rock n’ roll that just might suck you in." - TheEqualGround http://www.theequalground.com/indie-music-album-reviews/the-karma-kicks-its-all-gone-wrong
"The Karma Kicks, two Andys and a Dave, formed their kickin’ three-man blues-rock act in St. Paul in 2012. Set for release on January 4, their latest effort, a full-length record entitled It’s All Gone Wrong, explodes with twangy, high-energy tracks in the spirit of rockabilly and Americana. Despite the album’s pessimistic moniker, It’s All Gone Wrong is a sonic party, with generous hooks and crunchy riffs that could make even the most heartbroken howl sound like a good time. It might have “all gone wrong,” but in the hands of the Karma Kicks, it sounds oh so right." - Local Current Blog
