Come join us at the Footlighters Playhouse for a read through of our upcoming production of "Squabbles".
What : A read through of the play "Sqabbles" by Marshall Karp.
Where: The upstairs of the St.Marys Moose
When: June 16th at 6:30 pm

The Core Family:
Jerry Sloan: A successful, stressed-out writer of commercial advertising jingles. He is married to Alice.
Alice Sloan: Jerry’s wife, a sharp and equally successful lawyer who discovers she is pregnant during the play.
Abe Dreyfus: Alice’s elderly father. He is a hilariously cantankerous, sarcastic, and curmudgeonly widower who moves in with the couple first.
Mildred Sloan: Jerry’s meddling, eccentric mother. She is forced to move into the house after burning her own home down, instantly sparking a war with Abe.

Supporting Characters:
Sol Wasserman: Abe’s loyal card-playing buddy. He is an older gentleman who is often characterized as a doting, slightly absent-minded, and endearing old duffer.
Hector Lopez: A landscape laborer hired to do yard work around the house. He is an iPod-wearing teenager who prefers hiding out in the bathroom to doing actual physical labor.
Mrs. Fisher: The strict, iron-willed nanny brought in by Jerry and Alice to help handle the upcoming baby. She has a completely icy demeanor and becomes the only target that Abe and Mildred actually agree on loathing.
