Welcome to the not so glam side of art paint clean up “responsibly “. Each of these bottles contained a faulty batch of paint. So, they got dumped, wiped, rinsed and wiped again. Reduce,reuse and recycle! Then the rinse water will soak up into the paper towels I used that are at the bottom of the bucket. They’ll dry having soaked up the paint clean up and then can be thrown into the actual trash. (PS. The side of my arm is the least interesting thing about me. 😬) !

I joined a group recently, and we had a 5 day Art of Flow challenge. It’s something I’ve not done like this before and I loved it! So different from my typical format. I usually have a semi idea of outcome in mind and in this class, the challenge was to try not to direct it until day 5. So hard but so fun! Pics for funzies!

This made me tear up. More kindness in the world is my Christmas Wish!

Dear Spectrum Internet,
Today your technician Robert came to our home to upgrade our internet and help us start up TV streaming. He walked into a mess. My son, Sailor, is three years old. He was born with two rare brain defects and he is blind. He is unable to communicate his needs, and today has been rough for him. He has been crying all morning. I’ve been trying to soothe him while also meeting the needs of my two year old daughter, cleaning, washing dishes, and doing laundry while my husband works. It’s just been a tough day.
When Robert walked in and started talking, Sailor ran to him and reached up. Robert didn’t seem bothered at all and, instead, held my son off and on for the whole 45 minutes he was in our home. He snuggled him close while I folded laundry. It was a huge relief to this tired momma.
Robert could have walked in, rushed, and left but instead he saw a need greater than internet and met it. That’s beyond customer service- it’s humanity at its best. Robert deserves a raise… a promotion… something! He’s an asset to your company and I will never forget his kindness.

Loving the direction this piece is headed but can’t seem to capture the colors correctly! It’s really 4 distinct tones and the middle section of the painting is more the color of the second pic. But I had to use an internet extreme filter to get the color even close. Any tips?
