Cloud Symphony Orchestra is to present high quality performances of orchestral music, educational outreach activities, and further the understanding and appreciation of music in the St. We present four formal concert programs, a season preview concert, and a performance at the Lemonade Art Fair on the St. Cloud's Granite City Days each year. The SCSO performs major works and accompanies national a
nd international guest artists. Our audiences continually report their satisfaction with the artistic quality of the organization. Members of our orchestra are from the St. Cloud area, other Central Minnesota communities, and the Minneapolis/St. More than half of the members of the orchestra are faculty, staff, alumni and students of area colleges and universities. Other participants include community amateur musicians, talented high school students, and professionals. Continued performance of great literature serves as a learning tool and leads to the development of individual skills and musicality among the performers.
