For 88 years, Marineland has been exposing people to new animals for the first time. These exposures changed the way people felt about these animals and their marine environment.

🐬Dolphins who were considered pests by fishermen and often shot onsite, are now protected by the Marine Mammal Protection Act, beloved, and honored.
🐢Sea turtles who were hunted for meat, eggs, and shells, are now protected by the Endangered Species Act, celebrated, and admired.
🦈Sharks who were feared without reason, are now understood, appreciated, and respected.
