Summer Musical TheatreCamp SMTC (A.K.A. Curtis Camp) is now in its 26th season, strives to educate students in all aspects of theater as well as entertain the community.

The Summer Musical TheatreCamp for teens and kids is now in its 26th summer season. The program is widely recognized as the leading training ground for young actors. Since its inception in 1995, with 30 kids aged 5 to 14, this educational program has produced 36 musical theater shows with 1200 kids and teens in participation. For the past 13 years SMTC had produced full-scale Broadway musicals. Th

e actors have come not only from the St. Augustine area and throughout the state, but from across the USA including New Jersey, California, Ohio, Wisconsin, Texas; and even England and Malaysia. This summer over 100 kids ranging from age 5 to 18 will take part in our summer season. The staff members who help make this Summer Program possible include Curtis Powell (Music Director and Camp Director), Mike Beaman (Artistic Director), Nikki Falcao (Director), Joe Kemper (Director), and Carl Liberatore (Technical Director).
