Thank you my friends, for allowing me to host you these past 3 years. Special thanks to those who came to The Acoustic Den Cafe Saturday afternoon. It was a heartfelt pleasure to share some of my music with you (I warned you about my lack of rehearsal.) But you were, as you always have been, gracious and considerate of the musician on stage.

The second to last song that I sang was "As Friends" which I wrote in 1980, inspired by my friend in Chicago. As I said when I announced the song, I added a final verse to the song yesterday morning, dedicated to all of you.

To have understanding, supporting a cause
Accepting shortcomings, accepting the flaws
Ever believing and never deceiving
As friends
Until the end...

One last thing on yesterday, an earring was found on the floor at a table near the door.

I will be hosting a good bye party for musicians and customers this coming Saturday.

There will NOT be glasses, plates etc. available

You are welcome to bring in food and beverage for yourself or to share with others.

My refrigeration unit will be available to keep your beer or other beverages cold and if you want to use it for food that will also be fine.

A number of items are available for purchase such a plants (hanging, wall and free standing), tins, some furnishings, art etc.

This is open to the public and there is no charge.

Although not well rehearsed, I will be playing some of my original music and will have an open forum with free flowing Q and A and hopfully have other musicians join for the afternoon.

(Also, my lease ends this coming Tuesday, July 31, there is an interested party that I met with today that has potential of a deal.)
