What a great weekend spreading Christmas cheer! After the fun morning at the Santa Parade, Alyssa and I headed over to Shop with a Cop where we learned more about the organization and mingled with children and their families.

After, I headed back down to my county for the Sutter Creek parade of lights where I got to ride with my very own , thank you to Cooper and her family for making accommodations for me.

Merry Christmas and Happy New Year may your holiday season be filled with blessings❤️.

As always, keep your boots dusty and your dreams big!

What I have been up to the past month:

First, I started off with the ! I was very glad to see this rodeo back and I had a great time meeting new and old sash sisters that I will have by my side this year. Thank you to Tessa Lynn Persson for letting me use your horse so I could participate in happy trails.

Next, we went to our Sacramento County Sheriff’s Office for our annual trunk or treat event, I love being involved with our Sheriff's and meeting the youth.

Lastly, this past weekend we travelled down to San Luis Obispo for the 2026 Miss Rodeo California pageant. Each contestant did an amazing job and I enjoyed seeing past rodeo royalty that will always have a positive impact. Congratulations to Sujhey Rosas on being crowned Miss Rodeo California, I am looking forward to spending this year with you!

As always, keep your boots dusty and your dreams big.

Thanks to our incredible sponsors, we kicked off the first annual rodeo queen competition in style! Each of our three queens rode away with a stunning saddle. A huge thank you to InterState Oil for making this event possible for the Young Miss!

It was an absolute honor to support the 2025 Sacramento County Sheriff's Rodeo And to be able to donate a Trophy Saddle for the Young Miss Rodeo Queen.

This support ensures this rodeo queen will ride off with pride-and in true rodeo fashion.

It’s a long standing Interstate Oil Company tradition to give to organizations in our community and we are blessed to keep that tradition going.

Sheriff Cooper had the pleasure of meeting with the contestants of the inaugural Sacramento County Sheriff’s Rodeo Queen competition today, as they concluded the first two events of the program. Next Thursday, three outstanding young women will be crowned to serve as the official representatives of the Sheriff’s Rodeo for the upcoming year. Throughout their reign, they will engage with the community at rodeo events and participate in a variety of Sacramento County Sheriff’s Office functions.

Joining Sheriff Cooper at today’s event was a distinguished guest judge, Chief Bobby Davis of the Elk Grove Police Department, who shared a few inspiring words about the significance of preserving our Western heritage.
