I’m so excited to finally bring this to you! Its been in the works for some time now, and I can’t wait for you to dive into it.
You see, this is what I wish I had when I discovered that I wanted to dance. It wasn’t an option for me to go to the studio at a early age, but I made it to my first dance studio in junior high school. By then, everyone who had been dancing as a child knew things I didn’t know. I didn’t worry about it though, because my passion overrode the nervousness. I didn’t worry about the girls that thought they were better because they were more advanced nor did I worry about looking silly because I didn’t know the etiquette. I just put my all into it and trained everyday. Before long, I danced just as well, and I’m still dancing and making it a driving force in my life.
Coming up from behind is what I had to do. I had a slight disadvantage not having the same opportunities as everyone else, but I made it. Fast forward a few years, and I’ve done some wonderful performances and now I am a certified dance teacher helping adult dancers do a similar catch-up.
