Magic Valley Chorale

The MAGIC VALLEY CHORALE began in 1958. Membership is open to all singers.

The Chorale is dedicated to the promotion of a wide variety of choral music, with two concerts of major choral literature yearly, first in the spring and then at Christmas.

That's a wrap! Our season has come to an end. We are so thankful to the community for supporting us, and to our director Matt Belliston and pianist Ryker Harris for putting the "magic" in Magic Valley Chorale. All of our singers worked hard to put on a great show, and now it's time to rest. We can't wait to sing for you again soon.

What a night! This concert had awesome audience participation, and the Magic Valley Children's Chorus stole the show! If you didn't get a chance to attend, you can still make it to tomorrow's concert at 3pm. Make sure to bring a friend!

Tonight's the night! Last night's rehearsal was so much fun, and we are looking forward to performing for you this weekend🎶 Make sure to stick around for the reception after the concert to get some goodies and talk to the choir members. If you ever wanted to know what it's like to be in a choir like ours, now is the chance to find out!

Our concert is next week! We are looking forward to celebrating America's 250th birthday 🥳 If you got to choose songs for our concert, which American composers would you want us to perform? Which American composers do you like to sing to?

We are so excited to share our upcoming concert with you! Featuring works from Rodgers and Hammerstein, Irving Berlin, Aaron Copland and more, our selection is designed to celebrate American composers and the voices of the American past and present. The Magic Valley Children's Chorus will also be performing with us at the Friday concert. Get your tickets now, you won't regret it!

Meet the Board Member!
Maggie Arrington has sung with the Chorale for 15 years. She has served on the board as registrar, publicist, president and currently vice president. Although she has no formal musical training, she has enjoyed singing with many choirs over the years. She has performed in Magic Valley Dilettante's production of Fiddler on the Roof, along with many quartets and duets within her church. You can often hear her say: "Music is my happy place. It fills my soul and strengthens my spirit." Her children grew up hearing her sing while doing everyday chores around the house. She was born in Belfast Northern Ireland and this year celebrates her 45 years of being an American Citizen.
