Fable Folks Theatre A theatre group that offers imagination, collaboration & childlike awe to the stories we tell. Everything starts with a story.

All for the benefit of the community so they can share in the wonderment of the storytelling experience and what it means to be human Research is done on the subject and a framework is built with a concept and environment where it can live. The director and the writer map out the structure and overall shape of the piece but never the dialogue. He/She might write poems, lyrics or ideas. The Musicia

n and director talk of themes and feelings and from that they might write a musical palette of melodies. This is all brought to the rehearsal room. Then it is created in the rehearsal process. The actors, musicians, choreographers, improv the story, the writer builds on what is done. Lighting and sound are built along the same way. "The shared imagination is greater then any individual" (Devised theatre explained by Emma Rice paraphrased by me)
