RANCHO CORDOVA, CA - MERGE4 is pleased to announce a new collaboration with Dennis Hall and David Lobenberg, honoring men and women who serve in the military, veterans and their families.

Stars and rockets ablaze, MERGE4’s new Thunderbirds! socks depict over 70 years of Air Force history and feature entrepreneur, Dennis Hall and master watercolor artist, David Lobenberg’s collaborative painting, ‘Ambassadors in Blue’. These new red, white and blue socks highlight the United States Air Force Thunderbirds, flown at air shows globally to salute women and men serving in the military, veterans and their families.

“Working with MERGE4 has allowed us to take this piece of art to whole new altitude of display,” said collaborator, David Lobenberg, "It’s a great feeling to see your work represented on socks as wearable art on people's feet!”

The unisex crew socks are stitched with MERGE4’s signature Cult Weave which prevents the vibrant and detailed graphics from ‘blowing out’ or becoming warped when worn. The Thunderbirds! socks also feature a seamless heel and toe, moisture-wicking sole and elastic arch support.

MERGE4’s Thunderbirds! crew socks retail for $16 and are available to purchase from www.merge4.com and through select retailers.

MERGE4 is a Certified B Corporation based out of Santa Cruz, California that makes high quality graphic socks. Beyond magnificent in appearance, style and comfort, MERGE4 socks are constructed like no other. Your soles are GRIPPED by MERGE4’s deviously interesting ‘CULT-WEAVE’. The ‘CULT-WEAVE’ works to cushion the ‘arch’ area of the foot. YES, you heard correctly; MERGE4 “GRIPS YOUR SOLE”. For more information, visit www.merge4.com.

Merge4 Blog post – Thunderbirds ! Dennis Hall & David Lobenberg Collaborators

The 'Thunderbirds!' socks presenting the nearly 70 years’ span of United States Air Force Thunderbirds air demonstrations at airshows globally salute women and men serving in the military, veterans and their families. Entrepreneurs Dennis Hall and master watercolor artist David Lobenberg created the watercolor painting titled 'Ambassadors in Blue' featured on the socks. This painting depicts a contemporary Thunderbirds pilot in the cockpit of the F-16C Fighting Falcon saluting the original 1953 Thunderbirds overhead who flew the F-84 Thunderjet flying vertically toward the stars. Merge4, takes the art to whole new altitude of display. Exclaims David Lobenberg, "It's fun to have it represented on socks as wearable art. I like seeing my art on people's feet.' Dennis Hall gestures 'thumbs up.' Merge4.com Order Link for the socks is here: https://merge4.com/products/dennis-hall-thunderbirds

The painting ‘Ambassadors in Blue’ is the central watercolor painting for the United State Air Force Thunderbirds Commemorative print sold on eBay (https://www.ebay.com/itm/153802814170?fbclid=IwAR03gedGXOfWffN29gMncsdUJfhnaZDlc22Fe3rucINcpplV4dSijC4m6mk).

Dennis Hall’s pro bono give-back of public affairs promotion of the USAF Thunderbirds began three decades ago. The Merge4.com collaboration is his latest in a long-history of engaging the public about the Thunderbirds. The Merge4.com socks titled Thunderbirds! are part of Dennis’ effort to push extraordinary ways for the public to learn about the artworks, and history and value of the United States Air Force Air Demonstration Squadron – The Thunderbirds! He began writing his fictional novel about the first woman Thunderbirds pilot. At a writers’ convention he met military genre authors. They inspired him to channel his interest in the USAF Thunderbirds not to solely fiction, but non-fiction as well, and educate the public about them. To take people virtually into the Thunderbirds squadron, Dennis produced the Public Television documentary titled America’s Team, Being a US Air Force Thunderbird reaching millions of viewers worldwide. My pro bono give-back ‘USAF Thunderbirds career’ so to speak spanning 30 years began in June 1990. Author Dale Brown and I teamed up in June 1987 to be a fiction writing-research team. We had no idea the seven novels we would work on together would all be honored on The New York Time Best-Sellers Lists. I began writing my fictional novel about the first woman Thunderbirds pilot. In 1990 at a writers’ convention I met military genre authors, including Richard Herman, Jr., Larry Bond, W.E.B. Griffin. They inspired me to channel my interest in the USAF Thunderbirds not to solely fiction, but non-fiction as well, and educate the public about them. The Merge4.com collaboration of art I produced in collaboration with master artist David Lobenberg is my latest in a long-history of engaging the public about the Thunderbirds. The art is included in the Commemorative Print. The Merge4.com socks titled Thunderbirds! are part of my effort to push extraordinary ways for the public to learn about the artworks, and history and value of the United States Air Force Air Demonstration Squadron – The Thunderbirds! Salute! Dennis

Guy Kawasaki and Shawn Welch taught me through their organic e-book titled Author Publisher Entrepreneur (APE) to tell the world about your endeavors, as people will come forward to provide support and referrals, to expand awareness. Guy referred me to Cindi Ferreira Busenhart last year who founded Merge4.com, a company that markets socks promoting artists works. Merge4 is now marketing Thunderbirds! socks. This is a collaboration of artist David K. Lobenberg and me.
