In Zentangle Intermediate: Colorized Tangles, you’ll explore how alcohol ink and chalk pencils can transform your tangles into vibrant, full-color artwork. Using a combination of these colorful mediums, you’ll discover new ways to add depth, dimension, and personality to your tiles.

This intermediate-level workshop introduces the map tangling technique, allowing you to work with a sense of improvisation and mystery as your artwork develops. You won’t know exactly where your tile will end up, and that’s part of the fun!

In Zentangle Basics: Monotangles in White, you’ll discover the striking beauty of drawing white ink on a black tile. You’ll learn a new set of standard tangles while exploring the monotangle concept, filling an entire tile with a single pattern.

Working with white ink and adding white chalk highlights, you’ll explore how drawing and shading in white can create dramatic, high-contrast results.

It’s a fun opportunity to experiment with a different approach to Zentangle and discover just how beautiful a single pattern can become.

In this Zentangle Art Workshop: Layered Tiles, you’ll explore how layers of paper can be used to create colorful, textured foundations for your tangles. Build up layers of paper on your tile to create unique multi-colored strings, then bring your designs to life with Zentangle patterns.

This intermediate-level workshop combines paper crafting techniques with the Zentangle Method. Paper crafting materials and tools will be provided..

Prior participation in the Introduction to Zentangle class is recommended.

This week we had the pleasure of hosting a private Zentangle session, welcomed new artists to the beauty of Zentangle in our Basics: Introduction to Zentangle workshop, and explored intermediate techniques with our Tangled Triangles II class.

One of the best parts of teaching is seeing how every artist creates something completely their own. Whether it's someone's very first tile or they're building on years of Zentangle practice, every piece reflects a unique journey.
