MCC 2026 Collage Slam // Round 3️⃣: GEOMETRIC

This one felt serendipitous ✨🕊️

While flipping through old notes, I found a card from our Nannie, Betty — setting an “urgent lunch date” (which feels perfectly on brand). The original remains preserved, but the lime green and pink umbrella card made the perfect geometric backdrop for this piece.

Tied together with a map marking her partner’s roots and a bright tropical postcard, this collage is a little ode to timing, place, and playful structure. “Seeds” is an ode to those people and places that fuel us. 🌿💌

Prompt: Portals — and this one felt personal. I wanted to play with that moment when time feels like it’s right outside the door… waiting. (Peep that door in the background). 👀

Little bits of vintage paper, clock faces, and doorways came together in this mini collage — a peek into that in-between space where memory and maybe meet. 💭 Also… why so small? 😂
