Facts: Upon being released from prison, David Allan Coe moved to Nashville in 1967, living in his hearse (seen here) which he always parked outside the Mother Church of Country Music... AKA The Grand Ole Opry... And when the people would attend Opry shows on Friday and Saturday nights, DAC would sit on the top of his hearse and play his guitar and people soon would notice. He was just starting out in the music business.
(PS: I love that guitar.. DAC was homeless when he moved to Nashville.... But it didn't take too long for big things to come for him.)
