Grit Grace & Game is back on the Ouachita River chasing what every river rat dreams about true river monsters.

The river is up, the current is moving, and the gar are thick enough to make reaching the real target feel nearly impossible: flathead catfish. But tough conditions don’t stop Trey, Devin, and Trip from answering the call of the river.

For two days and one night, the crew camps on the banks of the Ouachita, grinding it out the hard way in a 16x48 SeaArk jon boat, armed with nothing but determination, a pile of goldfish, and a stubborn refusal to quit.

Will the boys put a river giant in the boat… or leave empty handed with nothing but stories to tell?

And about those goldfish… let’s just say they end up in some interesting places. 👀

Big things are coming to Grit Grace & Game

We’re fired up to announce that we’re expanding and adding an outdoors podcast to the lineup. This won’t be polished-up, fake TV outdoors content. We’re talking real stories from real hunters, fishermen, outdoorsmen, and hard working people who live for the outdoors and aren’t afraid to grind for it.

We’ll be sitting down with hunters, anglers, and outdoorsmen from all walks of life to hear the stories behind the harvests, the misses, the long nights, the hard lessons, and the moments that keep us coming back to the woods and the water.

Welcome back to the Grit, Grace & Game family.

In this episode, Devin and Trip hit the wild waters of the Ouachita River chasing true river monsters. What starts as a fishing trip turns into a full-on battle against current, weather, exhaustion, and fish powerful enough to test both man and equipment.

This episode features TWO full days on the river and all the chaos, grind, and adrenaline that comes with it. From brutal conditions to heavy fights at the boat, every moment carries the chance of landing the fish of a lifetime. And at one point, a giant river beast nearly drags Devin and Trip straight out of the boat.

No fancy studios. No scripted moments. Just grit, determination, brotherhood, and a deep respect for the outdoors God created.
