We’re excited to share some news! 🎡
After many years in business, we’re proud to announce a new chapter for our company. Durant Amusements is now operating as Woods Midway Entertainment.

This is a name change only. Our family ownership, experienced team, equipment, and commitment to providing a safe, clean, and enjoyable midway experience all remain the same. The new name reflects our family and the pride we take in the work we do and the partnerships we’ve built with fairs and festivals over the years.

We’re incredibly grateful for the trust and support of our fair partners and communities, and we look forward to continuing to bring fun, excitement, and memories to events for many years to come under our new name!

Another great year at the Official Millersport Sweet Corn Festival! Huge thank you to Shawn Carter and Ron & Kitty Keller for all of their hard work and everything they do for us! And also to the Millersport Ohio Lions Club for putting on such a great event each year!

Day 1 of the Port Clinton Walleye Festival! We have a great yet challenging season ahead of us and are looking forward to all of our upcoming events!

We would have not made it here without all of the help from our very good friends in the industry. A very special thank you to Suzannah Cushman with Prowant Specialty Company, Trent Bair, Annie Bair, Brent, & Nikki Bair with Bair’s Concessions, Inc., Katie Guinsler Linville & Lenny with Italian Eatery-Linville Food Service, Doug Guinsler, and Patrick Sheridan with Alamo Amusements. We are blessed to have such selfless and generous people in our circle.

Many may not know but the carnival industry is facing a labor crisis. Receiving Visas for our returning workers through the H2B Visa Program has become more and more difficult. We are actively lobbying for the CARE Act and P Visa program. If you enjoy going to your local carnival or feel it in your heart to support our industry, please contact your congressman and ask them to support the CARE Act. Carnivals Are Real Entertainment!

We are excited to continue to serve Ohio’s Fairs & Festivals this year in 2024 & thank all of our employees, our managers, our family, and most importantly our patrons for their unwavering support!
