All things filled with magick and beauty must slip away eventually….this year my Faire season will be extra bittersweet. It will make 7 years that I found a home in this land of Northern New England Renn Faires, and unlocked a new piece of heart. I’ve met so many beautiful beings, human & creature alike through this adventure. And you all have given my heart a gift I can never repay you for. You are the reason my wings have molted several times in the years as I’ve grown. But there comes a day when a Faery must return to the realm in order to continue to grow. And that time has come for me, at the end of this 2025 Faire season. This is not a goodbye forever, I don’t truly align with those very well. And surely, you’ll still see me visiting the land of Humans from time to time. But if you’d like to see me at Faire, this is the summer to do it! I will not be seen during the 2026 season. 💚

My next wing molt will require me to return to the 🧚🏻‍♀️ realm, and grow into this next version I’m meant to be. 💚 In my other work (outside of this character) we have a beautiful saying in healing sessions and ceremonies. It is an indicator that suddenly comes to us, as things come to a final close. We may then feel ready to ask someone the important question: Do you feel like you have been served? And are you complete?

While I prepared for the upcoming Faire season this winter, my heart was suddenly filled to the brim with gratitude and a strong knowing….that this season will be the end of this adventure.

My heart today goes out to ALL the fellow Fae & Guild members who put it in so much heart and work to make this festival happen…only to have it destroyed by a tornado. It’s heartbreaking and exhausting to say the least. These fairies work hard to put these events on that the community needs so deeply. Not just for keeping the magic alive for the children, but for the adults who look forward to it as well. Especially when mental health struggles and a deep desire to know that magic exists are so critical. It’s a loss for everyone, and now they are left to cleanup the losses of equipment and profit.
