https://www.leff2yourimaginationartandphotography.com Art has always been part of my life—whether I was doodling as a kid, studying visual communications at the Art Institute of Dallas, or just sketching palm trees on takeout
boxes. After college, I thought I'd start a career in art, but life had a different plan. I became a mom, and while I didn’t have time to draw, I never stopped creating—I captured life through photography, documenting everything from nature to nonstop sports games. Years later, with my kids grown, my husband encouraged me to revisit the dream I’d put on pause. He even built me an art room so I could paint again and finally finish my children’s stories. In 2023, I published my first children’s book, and although I didn’t illustrate it, it was a big moment for me. Now, I’m exploring abstract painting, something I never imagined I'd love this much. It brings me peace, helps me let go of perfection, and allows me to create from the heart. I’m just getting started, and I’m excited to see where this new chapter takes me.
