BOO! Halloween just got a pretty pink makeover! 👻🩷

The new Halloween on Main Collection from Catherine Pooler Designs is here, and my first card pairs playful little bats and ghosts with the brand-new Made Me Blush Ink.

I love how the black-and-pink color combination makes this card feel festive and Halloween-y without being too spooky. And that tiny ghost tucked into the “BOO!” sentiment? Too cute!

I filmed this card as I made it, so a reel is coming soon. But I couldn’t wait to share it with you because the entire collection is available now!

How would it feel to craft in a room full of people who really 𝘶𝘯𝘥𝘦𝘳𝘴𝘵𝘢𝘯𝘥? 💕✂️

I made this birthday card during one of our Stamping Family 𝗠𝗮𝗸𝗲 & 𝗠𝗶𝗻𝗴𝗹𝗲 Zoom sessions. We were doing a 𝗥𝗼𝗹𝗹 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗗𝗶𝗰𝗲 𝗖𝗵𝗮𝗹𝗹𝗲𝗻𝗴𝗲 when someone rolled a 6.

The entire room groaned. 😂

And then… we all made something beautiful anyway.

✨ 𝗪𝗮𝗻𝘁 𝘁𝗼 𝘀𝗮𝘃𝗲 𝗮𝘁 𝗹𝗲𝗮𝘀𝘁 𝟮𝟬 𝗺𝗶𝗻𝘂𝘁𝗲𝘀 𝗲𝗮𝗰𝗵 𝘁𝗶𝗺𝗲 𝘆𝗼𝘂 𝗺𝗮𝗸𝗲 𝗮 𝗰𝗮𝗿𝗱?

Here’s my favorite technique: 𝗦𝘁𝗼𝗽 𝘀𝘁𝗮𝗿𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗳𝗿𝗼𝗺 𝘀𝗰𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗰𝗵!

Instead start with a 𝗰𝗮𝗿𝗱 𝘀𝗸𝗲𝘁𝗰𝗵. It gives you a simple framework for your layers, focal point and sentiment - then you get to make it all your own. 💕

Take 𝗼𝗻𝗲 𝘀𝗸𝗲𝘁𝗰𝗵 and change it into four different versions:

🎨 𝗪𝗲𝗲𝗸 𝟭: Use it as is with your favorite color combo.
🔄 𝗪𝗲𝗲𝗸 𝟮: Rotate the layout 90 degrees.
🌸 𝗪𝗲𝗲𝗸 𝟯: Swap the rectangle layers for patterned paper.
✂️ 𝗪𝗲𝗲𝗸 𝟰: Change proportions and add a die cut focal element.

That’s what 𝗖𝗮𝗿𝗱 𝗦𝗸𝗲𝘁𝗰𝗵 𝗼𝗳 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗠𝗼𝗻𝘁𝗵 is all about! 💌

🍂 𝗙𝗿𝗶𝗲𝗻𝗱𝘀, 𝗜 𝗻𝗲𝗲𝗱 𝘆𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗼𝗽𝗶𝗻𝗶𝗼𝗻! 🍂

I just made this autumn card using the new Catherine Pooler 𝗔𝘂𝘁𝘂𝗺𝗻 𝗼𝗻 𝗠𝗮𝗶𝗻 collection and I want to know what you prefer:

✨ 𝗕𝗶𝗴, 𝗯𝗼𝗹𝗱 𝘀𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗶𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁𝘀 like this “Blessings”
or
🌿 𝗦𝗺𝗮𝗹𝗹, 𝘀𝘂𝗯𝘁𝗹𝗲 𝘀𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗶𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁𝘀 that let the images do the talking?

For this card I used the 𝗠𝗶𝘁𝗳𝗼𝗿𝗱 𝗙𝗮𝗹𝗹𝘀 𝗦𝘁𝗮𝗺𝗽 𝗦𝗲𝘁 & 𝗗𝗶𝗲𝘀 for the tree and pumpkins and the 𝗛𝗮𝗿𝘃𝗲𝘀𝘁 𝗗𝘂𝗼 𝗪𝗼𝗿𝗱 𝗗𝗶𝗲𝘀 for that gorgeous script sentiment.

I added a soft circular ink blend behind the focal images and a little splatter for extra texture. And honestly I was surprised by how fast it came together - 𝘂𝗻𝗱𝗲𝗿 𝟯𝟬 𝗺𝗶𝗻𝘂𝘁𝗲𝘀! 🙌

Okay, friends… 🍂 The new 𝗔𝘂𝘁𝘂𝗺𝗻 𝗼𝗻 𝗠𝗮𝗶𝗻 𝗖𝗼𝗹𝗹𝗲𝗰𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 from Catherine Pooler is officially LIVE and I have a favorite! 😍

I used the 𝗡𝗲𝘀𝘁𝗲𝗱 𝗔𝗿𝗰𝗵 𝗗𝗶𝗲𝘀to create a framed scene and I’m already pretty sure this stamp set is going to be one of my most-reached-for favorites all season long!
I am completely in love with the 𝗠𝗶𝘁𝗳𝗼𝗿𝗱 𝗙𝗮𝗹𝗹𝘀 𝗦𝘁𝗮𝗺𝗽 𝗦𝗲𝘁. It has the most darling little Main Street scene with falling leaves, trees and everything you need for beautiful fall cards! 🍁✨

I used the 𝗡𝗲𝘀𝘁𝗲𝗱 𝗔𝗿𝗰𝗵 𝗗𝗶𝗲𝘀 to create a framed scene and I’m already pretty sure this stamp set is going to be one of my most-reached-for favorites all season long!
