But here's the thing about Angus — underneath all the running, the duck walk, the tongue, the absolute chaos — was a guy who knew that fretboard inside and out. Cold. Every note. Every position.

Tracy did not realize how much she was leaving on the table.

That is the thing about not knowing the fretboard. It does not always feel like a problem until something clicks and you look back and think, how long was that holding me back?

For Tracy it was not knowing keys. Not understanding note placement. Things that felt abstract and complicated until they suddenly were not.

She needed a crash course. Not a semester. Not a deep dive into music theory. Just something that could get her oriented on the neck quickly and actually make it stick.

That kind of relationship with an instrument doesn't happen by accident. It happens when you truly know the neck — every note, every position, every possibility. Not guessing. Knowing.

Jerry has been playing for years.

And for years, he carried that quiet feeling that most guitarists know but nobody really talks about. That he was getting by without really knowing what he was doing.

Not a beginner. Not someone who just picked up the guitar. Someone who has put in the time and still felt like something fundamental was missing.

He wanted more. Not because someone told him he should. Because he could feel the gap himself and he was tired of ignoring it.

Fretboard Fix gave Jerry a way to keep moving forward.
