And with people who believed Indonesian stories deserved to be seen, LAIFF began with a simple intention: to create space for Indonesian films in Los Angeles.
More than a decade later, that small dream has grown into a space for connection, learning, and community.
LAIFF continues to exist because of the incredible support from filmmakers, sponsors, partners, film schools, volunteers, audiences, and everyone who has believed in us since day one.
Thank you for growing with us and for continuing to believe in what we do. Twelve years later, we’re still here, continuing to share Indonesian stories with the world, one film at a time.
