Quick update on Off the Cuff.

I’m going to push the Kickstarter launch back just a bit. We’re filming gameplay on February 15 so people can actually see the game in action and get a feel for how fun it really is before it goes live.

Once that’s done, the Kickstarter will launch shortly after.

Sorry for the delay, and thanks for being patient. I really appreciate all the support and excitement around this. I want to do this the right way, and I think showing real people playing the game will make the launch even better.

More coming soon.

If you like games that make you laugh, think fast, and get a little competitive, keep an eye on this.

Off the Cuff is a fast-paced improv party game where teams perform ridiculous scenes while secretly hiding a prompt, and everyone else is trying to catch it. It starts playful and quickly turns into strategy, timing, and surprisingly intense competition.

The First Edition launches on Kickstarter February 1.

If you want early access, head to the Kickstarter page, follow the project, and click “Notify me on launch.” That’s how you’ll know the moment it goes live.

🤵🏼‍♂️Big update on OFF THE CUFF 🤵🏼‍♂️

I’m really excited to share this.

After a lot of tweaking, testing, and trimming the fat, I was able to cut the production cost of Off the Cuff nearly in half! Without losing a single part of the gameplay. Same laughs. Same chaos. Same improv-fueled energy. Just a much smarter build.

If you love party games, improv games, or games that reward quick thinking and creativity, Off the Cuff is officially available right now on The Game Crafter.

👉 Buy it here: https://www.thegamecrafter.com/games/off-the-cuff
For the low, low price of $51.99!

OK... I know, that’s still not “cheap.”
But honestly? That’s about the cost of a tank of gas right now… and this will last way longer than the drive to work for the week. Not that that’s saying much. 😅

And this is just the beginning.

I’m gearing up to launch a Kickstarter soon, aiming to raise $6,000–$7,000, which is roughly what it’ll cost to produce a first run of games. The goal is simple: get the price down even more, get the game into more hands, and see if Off the Cuff has the legs to really take off🚀!

If you’re into discovering games early, backing creative projects, or helping a party game prove itself... stay tuned. I’ll be sharing the Kickstarter link soon.

Thanks to everyone who’s play-tested, given feedback, laughed hard, and encouraged this project along the way. Off the Cuff keeps getting tighter, faster, and more fun — and now we get to see what happens when it leaves the nest. 🎲🔥

Off the Cuff: Help Me Bring the Game to the World

Off the Cuff is a fast and hilarious improv party game where every scene turns into controlled chaos. It is already built, fully playable, and getting huge laughs, but now I need help taking it from small batch print on demand to full scale production.

Right now each copy from The Game Crafter costs about 85 dollars before tax and shipping because they print one at a time. My goal is to bring the cost down to 29.99 by producing in bulk, working with a larger manufacturer, and making smart tweaks and consolidations to reduce production costs without changing the fun or quality of the game.

I am looking for two types of supporters to help move this dream forward.
1. The Backer Builder
You are the kind of person who wants to help a creative project grow. You will be part of the Kickstarter when it launches, and depending on your support level, you will earn rewards like early access, a free or discounted expansion pack, or special first edition cards that will not be sold anywhere else.
2. The Playtester Partner
You want to actually play the game now. You can order a copy today directly from The Game Crafter at this link:
https://www.thegamecrafter.com/games/off-the-cuff

Once you order, you will get an email with a short feedback guide so your real world play helps fine tune the final production version. You are not just buying a game, you are helping make it better.

Both kinds of supporters are important. One helps fuel the launch, and the other helps sharpen the experience. Together, you are helping bring a laugh out loud improv game to living rooms, classrooms, and team nights everywhere.

If you believe in creativity, connection, and laughter, this is your moment to get in early.

Think fast. Act faster. Laugh hard.

Here’s what Off the Cuff is all about.

Imagine if Whose Line Is It Anyway had a baby with Cards Against Humanity but instead of reading jokes off a card you and your friends are the ones performing them.

It is a fast paced improv party game where you and your teammates act out funny scenes based on random combinations of characters, locations, and a hidden prompt that you secretly have to slip into the scene without getting caught.

For example, you might be a crybaby bouncer working at a yoga retreat and your secret hidden prompt is to say the word elephant three times during the scene.

Everyone else tries to figure out what your hidden prompt was before time runs out. If they cannot guess it your team scores.

Meanwhile, the other teams can interrupt with a Wild Card like “pretend the floor is lava” or “you have lost your voice” to make things even crazier.

It is all about quick thinking, teamwork, and cracking each other up. It feels like doing improv comedy but with structure and purpose.

The first team to eleven points wins. But really, the fun is in watching your friends completely lose it trying to stay in character while chaos unfolds.

In short, it is improv made easy. You do not have to be a comedian. You just have to think fast, act faster, and laugh hard.
