A former varsity baseball player at Troy Athens, Mike has competed in adult baseball for more than 34 years as both a pitcher and infielder. He's also coached travel baseball and softball teams and worked with athletes on pitching, hitting, and fielding.

Mike focuses on strong fundamentals, skill development, and confidence to help every athlete get more out of their game.

Coach Jayson Ruhlman brings professional playing experience and more than a decade of coaching experience to Fiver Sports. Drafted by both the Chicago White Sox and Chicago Cubs, Jayson spent four seasons in the Cubs’ minor league system, reaching Triple-A with the Iowa Cubs.

Today, he puts that experience to work helping players develop the skills that matter most.
