This is just a first experiment with a new Volca Beats. Fun little beat. I think this all sounds like video game music again, so maybe that's where we're headed? We'll figure it out I guess!

Sometimes you have an idea and it's great, and then something uninspiring happens and you end up with something like this. It just goes on the pile and never comes back.

I think the idea here was something about video game music again, but it's mixed with something that I don't like.

Another adventure in sleep architecture. This one is something about those nightmares you keep drifting towards. It's misleadingly abrasive. Also, lately I think things sound like that would be good for a video game. This is one of those. Gives me dungeon vibes. Anyway...

Level 14: The Vocal Hook

I'll be honest, I did this the other day and totally forgot to post it. Probably because I don't like it, but post we shall.

The task was to trim a sample down to just a word to use as part of the beat. I was working with samples I'd already used and wasn't feeling inspired when I did it. You can tell.
