We CARE Vet Fair™ REMINDER

Georgia’s Largest Veteran Resource Fair Returns to Rome June 11–12
ROME, Ga. — United Military Care will host the We CARE Vet Fair™: Northwest Georgia on June 11–12 at the Forum River Center, bringing together Veterans, military families, caregivers, and service providers from across the region for two days of resources, support, and community engagement.

The free event will feature more than 100 federal, state, local, nonprofit, and community organizations that offer direct assistance and information to Veterans and military-connected individuals.

The event is open to Veterans of all service eras, active-duty military personnel, National Guard members, Reservists, spouses, survivors, caregivers, and transitioning service members.

What: We CARE Vet Fair™: Northwest Georgia
When: Thursday, June 11, 2026, 9 a.m. – 5 p.m. | Friday, June 12, 2026, 9 a.m. – 4 p.m.
Where: Forum River Center 301 Tribune St. Rome, GA 30161
Parking: Free 3rd Avenue Parking Deck adjacent to Forum. Shuttle is also available.

AVAILABLE SERVICES & OPPORTUNITIES
Attendees will have access to a wide range of onsite services and support, including:
• VA healthcare enrollment - Both Thursday and Friday
• Disability claims and appeals assistance - Both Thursday and Friday
• Employment and workforce resources - Friday only
• Free Haircuts - Friday only
• Legal and housing support - Friday Only
• Mental health and wellness services - Friday only
• Free iBreast Exam - Both Thursday and Friday, Appointments Required (Spouses Also)
• Free Angio Screen - Friday only, Appointment Required
• Enjoy military vehicles, motorcycles, and a rock wall to climb.

Veterans are encouraged to bring military records, medical documentation, resumes, and other supporting documents to assist participating service providers.

SPECIAL EVENTS

Women Veterans Engagement Event-Registration Required
Thursday, June 11, 9 a.m. – Noon - Forum River Center - Upstairs Concourse
Hosted in partnership with the Georgia Department of Veterans Service, this special session will focus on resources, support, and engagement opportunities for women Veterans.

Community Concert Honoring Veterans
Thursday, June 11- 7 p.m.- Forum River Center Town Green
A free outdoor concert featuring Brother MOJO and special guest, Mason Thompson, will be held at the Town Green adjacent to the Forum River Center. The public is invited to attend and celebrate the service and sacrifice of Veterans throughout Northwest Georgia. Bring a lawn chair and a friend for lots of fun!

Something big is coming to Northwest Georgia, and it's almost here!

On June 11 and 12, the We CARE Veterans Fair will be at the Forum River Center in Rome, Georgia. This is a free, two-day event for Veterans, Servicemembers, Military Families, Caregivers, and Survivors. Free admission, free parking.

We are talking about 100+ community partners, the VA, and the Georgia Department of Veterans Service, all in one place.

The details:
- VA Benefits claims assistance and VA Healthcare enrollment will be available to Veterans of all ages and eras on June 11 (9:00 AM - 5:00 PM) and June 12 (9:00 AM - 4:00 PM). No appointment necessary - just come on in!
- Community partners providing housing support, employment, legal resources, and more will be available on Friday, June 12 ONLY. No appointments necessary for these services, either!

Non-invasive iBreast® exams and AngioScreen® exams will be available BY APPOINTMENT ONLY on both days.
