Congratulations to Carolina Oneto on having her quilt accepted to Quilt National!! We’re looking forward to having her join us for a lecture and classes in January! We still have openings, and because they will be presented via Zoom, anyone can join from anywhere!! Details are available on our website: www.NSQG.club

I have some news I’ve been holding onto, and I’m so happy to finally share it: The Space Between III has been selected for Quilt National 2027 at the Dairy Barn! 🎉 Quilt National Exhibition

This is my second time being part of Quilt National, and honestly, it doesn’t feel any less exciting the second time around. Opening that email, I had to read it twice.

This series has been all about the space between things: between colors, between shapes, between what we say and what we leave quiet.

Thank you to the jurors, to the Dairy Barn The Dairy Barn Arts Center team, and to all of you who’ve followed this series from the very first piece. 💛

Have you ever seen Quilt National in person? Tell me below, and if you’re planning to go in 2027, I’d love to know!

We are thrilled to welcome renowned textile artist Maday Delgado of Sustainable Textile Design, who will teach two creative quilting workshops for NSQG this month! ***Workshops are open to non-members!!***

We have a few open seats left for Maday’s Saturday Oct. 17, 2026 class: The Art of Improv Curved Piecing. Maday will guide you through organic, free-hand cutting and fluid piecing techniques without using templates or pins, helping you build confidence, play with color movement, and create truly dynamic, original quilt blocks.
All the details, including links for sign-up, are available at www.NSQG.club

Don’t delay! These spots will fill quickly!
