COSB continues its 40th Anniversary Season, with three amazing soloists on Sunday, March 5, 2023, at the Norris Theatre in Palos Verdes, CA at 7:00 pm. Conducted by Frances Steiner, she'll be joined by harpist KONI CHOI, harpsichordist ARTHUR OMURA, and violinist PHILIP VAIMAN in a program of works by Bayreuth, Tailleferre, Zwilich, and Piazzolla. The pre-concert talk will begin at 6:15 pm and will be presented by Cheryl Scheidemantle and is free with paid admission.

COSB continues its 40th Anniversary Season, with award-winning pianist CLAIRE HUANGCI on Sunday, January 15, 2023, at the James Armstrong Theatre located at 3330 Civic Center Drive, Torrance, CA at 7:00 pm. Conducted by Frances Steiner and Hector Salazar, the program will include works by Arriaga, Richards, Prokofiev, and Mozart's stunning Piano Concerto No. 20 in d minor.

The Chamber Orchestra of the South Bay, under the direction of Frances Steiner, opens its 40th Anniversary Season with 15th International Van Cliburn Piano Competition Bronze Medalist, Daniel Hsu (who replaces Anna Geniushene as soloist) this coming Sunday, October 9 at 7:00 pm. The concert opens with Mozart's Impresario Overture, K. 486 followed by Saint-Saëns Piano Concerto No. 2 in g minor, Op. 22. Following the intermission will be Mendelssohn's Symphony No. 4 in A Major, Op. 90 "Italian." The pre-concert preview will begin at 6:15 pm and will be presented by Chuck Klaus and is free with paid admission.

COSB concluded its 21/22 Season with three wonderful concerts that included pianist Daniel Hsu and Rufus Choi, LA Phil's Principal Horn Andrew Bain, and the Morgan Jones Piano Trio.

During the pandemic, acclaimed pianist Orion Weiss has been at home, revisiting some of the most treasured works for solo piano and keyboard. On Sunday, January 31, 2021 at 1 pm PST (4 pm ET), please join us for his one-time-only performance of one of the classical music worlds' most beloved works - Johann Sebastian Bach's Goldberg Variations - to mark the 280th anniversary of the composition of this great work. Presented by: Bard College, Chamber Orchestra of the South Bay, and Chamber Music Houston.
