🎉Congratulations to our Grand Marshal Barbara Novak!🎉

What does more than 70 years of Girl Scout impact look like? This weekend, it looked like Barbara Novak leading the way as Grand Marshal of Rohnert Parks Founders Day Celebration!
Barbara started as a Girl Scout herself and has spent decades serving as a troop leader, mentor, camper, and volunteer. She received the Girl Scouts Thanks Badge in 1979, and in 2024 was honored with the Circle of Empowerment Award, which recognizes volunteers who empower others to carry out the Girl Scout mission.
Barbara has introduced generations of Girl Scouts to everything from camping, STEM, first aid, and orienteering to caring for animals and the environment. Today, former Girl Scouts from her troops are passing those same traditions and values on to their own daughters.
We’re so proud to see her community celebrate the extraordinary legacy she continues to build. Congratulations, Barbara!
