This is genuinely how some of my favorite nail designs start 😂

I’ll see one random little detail somewhere and immediately know I need it on a fingernail.

Can I explain exactly how I’m going to do it? Absolutely not.

Can I already see it in my head? Somehow, yes.

And honestly, I think that’s when some of my best work happens. I don’t always need the whole design figured out — sometimes I just need that one little spark and then I get to figure out the rest while I’m creating.

Anyway it’s 12:43am and apparently we’re designing nails now 😭

doors weren’t even open yet and apparently neither was the club

Good Morning, Iris: Birthday Edition! 🎈🥹

Last week, I turned left and the cup went right. This week, Iris walked in with a cup made especially for me.

My name was printed on the bag, printed on the card and even put on the cup. She watched our little moment from last week, remembered it and turned it into the sweetest birthday gift. That’s the kind of thoughtfulness that makes something feel so much bigger than just a present.

I felt incredibly loved on my birthday. My people showed up for me, my mom brought me a giant gay rainbow balloon, and Iris arrived with a gift and the most perfectly appropriate pink 3D birthday-dessert nails. 😂💗

Twenty-nine already feels pretty special.
