I may not be booked every single weekend for a wedding or private event.

And I’m good with that.

I always believe in giving back. 3 years ago an opportunity came to me to donate my DJ services for an adult Senior Day Center for the elderly in Gastonia. They roll out the red carpet for their residents and try to recreate their Senior Prom. There’s no way I’m missing this !!

I said , “ say no more. And I’ll do it every year until I cannot!!”

Shout out to The Center: Adult Daycare Services and Karen Creech for always throwing down on a Friday afternoon!!

Re-watching last night’s NYE performances before the ball dropped and notice that all the bands are from 15-20 years ago.

As a DJ, I’m concerned with the current state of music. There needs to be some kind of revolution. Is current music Tik Tok dances and terrible mumble rap? Help me out here? And I don’t want to hear “no, there’s tons out there “. Come on. Even Spotify Top songs are old. If this is what has come to, I’m playing nothing but classics and throwbacks when I DJ events from here on out. Call me DJ Remember When.
