Aliya's Kismet Dancers Bellydancing for fun and fitness SHOWING YOUR BELLY IS YOUR CHOICE. Workshops on specialized topics arranged depending on interest.

Aliya's Kismet Dancers coordinated by Shalaya is an outlet for creative dance expression that offers local performance opportunities in Gaithersburg, Germantown, and Rockville, however, performing is always optional. Bellydance improves physical, emotional, and mental well-being, reduces stress, enhances mobility and muscle coordination, strengthens core muscles for improving balance and offers

aerobic exercise. Performing is a big part of the development of the serious dancer and resources for costuming, makeup, music selection, and the building of an individual’s confidence, style, and stage persona are available whether performing is a goal or not. Many low pressure opportunities for beginning performers to gain stage experience are offered.
