How do you capture the color white on canvas?

As you may know, the color white does not exist in nature, only in a can or tube of paint. This cannot capture sunlight or recesses. In Fumée d’Ambre Gris, John Singer Sargent mixed white with a hint of orange to capture life, creating a breathtaking result.
