✨ With all the new people joining my page lately, I thought it was probably time for a little introduction! ✨

Hi! My name is Faye, and I’m the person behind Mare’s Place! ❤️

I started Mare’s Place while I was in college as a way to connect with other equine lovers and share my artwork. What started as a creative outlet has grown into so much more!

I’m a mixed media surrealist artist, and I love trying just about anything creative. I’ve worked with paint, ceramics, fiber arts, digital art, photography, and plenty of other mediums along the way! 🎨🖌️🧶🧵

Horses are usually my muse, and they play a huge role in both my life and my artwork. 🐴❤️

Mare’s Place was named after my Missouri Fox Trotter, Mare, who I had for almost 20 years. She was my best friend right up until the end, and so much of my creative inspiration came from her. Her memory is a big part of what Mare’s Place means to me. ❤️

These days, I have five horses of my own: Geno (20), Indy (20), Livie (8), Afina (3), and Teller (3). They all have their own personalities and quirks, and they continue to inspire me every day. 🐴✨
