The music scene in Rochester is taking a huge hit this year. Now more than ever is the time to support local live music, go to community events, and prove to the city of Rochester that an arts scene is something worth supporting.

We hope to help grow this music and arts community in as many ways as we can. Palladium will not only be a recording studio. It will be a space to gather in community and celebrate music and the arts. Not only that, but we want to support our fellow Rochester businesses through collaboration and symbiotic relationships.

Adam Fredericksen and Allyson Palmer sent out a letter on Tuesday that Thesis Beer Project will close due to the ongoing construction on Second Street Southwest.

FLOORS, LIGHTS and DOORS! Oh my!

Loving this space more and more every day. It's really coming along, and it should be done in no time! But the work doesn't stop there, then its up to ME to make it into an actual STUDIO!

Both the exterior AND interior are getting really close to being done! Siding is 95% of the way there. Drywall is done and primed, lights are going in, floors are being leveled, control room windows are in... we are full steam ahead!

As we inch closer to renovations being complete, we wanted to share the entire process with you, from start to finish.

Our new website is live! I'll be slowly working on it, but in the meantime, it includes our mission statement, as well as renovation process photos. It will include a whole lot more when we get closer to being able to provide services. We kept it simple for now.

Any other business might not want to show you the gross nitty gritty of what a building used to be, but I think this transformation has been incredible, and will only continue to get better. So we've included a bunch of images that span almost 2 years, from when we bought the place, to demo, to the initial stages of renovation, to what it looks like today. We've included photos of the absolute mess that ensued during this process, as well as some of the weird and quirky things we discovered in and about the building. They're raw, and they're honest. But the the full story would not be complete without them, so we decided to show you all of it!

As of late ✨

In the continuing saga of "weird things found during renovations", we present to you:

1) A VERY old shoe and some pottery 👞
2) A dead snake (or snake skin?) 🐍
3) A tin of chew 💨

Don't worry! None of these items will be included in the "Services & Equipment" we provide at our new location. 🤣 However some of them may be kept and displayed in homage to what the building used to be! We wish we knew the story behind some of these items!

**A couple of bonus photos of the actual renovation:

- Blasted a door-sized hole in what used to be the exterior wall! Picture was taken from the live room, looking through the opening into rear of the control room.
- New sub-floor in the control room.
