In the continuing saga of "weird things found during renovations", we present to you:

1) A VERY old shoe and some pottery 👞
2) A dead snake (or snake skin?) 🐍
3) A tin of chew 💨

Don't worry! None of these items will be included in the "Services & Equipment" we provide at our new location. 🤣 However some of them may be kept and displayed in homage to what the building used to be! We wish we knew the story behind some of these items!

**A couple of bonus photos of the actual renovation:

- Blasted a door-sized hole in what used to be the exterior wall! Picture was taken from the live room, looking through the opening into rear of the control room.
- New sub-floor in the control room.

❕⏩️ Construction progress! 🛠️✅

1) Holes dug for the new addition foundation! Entrance vestibule in the back.
2) Front of the building is flattened out and ready for new siding!
3) ISO Room 1 🎻 window into LIVE room. Anyone who was in the old space will recognize this window!
4) The LIVE room, all torn up! 🥁 Great workspace for the contractors right now.
5) ISO Room 2 getting framed in. 🎤 Teaching room also getting framed in behind that. 🎹

When tearing open a building that is 100ish years old, and has been slap-dashedly added onto 3-4 separate times, you find some quirky things:

1) Poorly insulated deck add-on
2) Velvet wallpaper strips
3) An old photo found behind some cabinets
4) The old exterior siding that someone didn't bother taking off during an addition
5) A very not-square wall.

These are the *before* pictures. There WILL be *after* pictures!

🟢 🛠️ Renovations continue! The tile floors are gone (good riddance!), and we're getting ready to take the front door out and flatten out that wall. More square footage for the live room! 👌🤘🙌

Hailey Paulson for Blue Lagoon ✨🪞🪩🫧💎🤩

Earlier this year (like, May, earlier this year 🤪) Blue Lagoon artist Hailey Paulson came into the studio and ~graced us~ with her beautiful melodies. The range of music genre, artistry, talent and ideation that comes out of Blue Lagoon is massively impressive and doesn’t get enough HYPE.

As some of you may know...

We've moved! We are in a new building, and we are so excited to share it with you! The renovation process is ongoing, but in the meantime, we wanted to share the progress with you, as well as introduce some of the new things we will be focusing on once the space is ready.
