One day at a gig at the world trade conference I had the privilege of drawing Jesse Jackson at the NASDAQ booth. Up until today I didn't appreciate the honor that it was and why he had such a crowd of supporters with him. He was breaking down barriers then, in the financial world, and I missed the significance of the moment. Be aware. Be present. You may never know that the person you are talking to may be changing the world.

When a subject at the Virginia Tech Continuing & Professional Education Department Event takes and then sends you a video! Whooopieeee! And heavens no, my subjects do not SIT STILL for me as I sketch...they are entertaining themselves with "THE RULES OF ENGAGEMENT" a script of therapeutically humorous, improvisation-inspired prompts, as directed by the spectators. As another guest commented...the experience was "gold". 🤣 NEXT!

I'm so giggly grateful for the gigs last week ....SWVA BroncoFest in Wytheville VA, Greenbrier Sporting Club Memorial Day Celebration in White Sulpher Springs WV, (next day) Kiawah Island SC, Messer Financial Group Employee/Client appreciation, New River Valley Jouvenile Detention Home summer caricature program, TechNite for annual Celebration of the Roanoke Blacksburg Region's Technology Community on the Beamer-Lawson Indoor Practice Facility the VT, Bridal Shower in beautiful Lexington VA. Whew. I need a social media assistant to capture all this so y'all can enjoy it with me! This girl is busy! Let the Laughter glow and flow!
