We welcome Southwest Virginia's own Amanda Cook Band to the stage on Saturday, August 29th for a not-to-be-missed evening of contemporary bluegrass and Americana with His & Hers!

Rooted in the rich tradition of bluegrass while embracing a fresh, contemporary sound, The Amanda Cook Band delivers heartfelt storytelling, tight harmonies, and dynamic instrumentation that connects with audiences of all ages. The band is fronted by award-nominated vocalist, Amanda Cook, who is also the owner of Mountain Fever Records in Willis, Virginia. Their upcoming album, Love Through Time, features two singles—the title track and "Ghost Time"—which have charted in the Top 10 on the Bluegrass Radio Charts this summer.

A husband and wife-fronted folk Americana-grass band from the NC Piedmont, His & Hers has released four albums including Come On In (2022) and Live at The Primavera Roadhouse, Volume 1 (2024). Regionally, they have performed their unique blend of folk, Americana, and contemporary bluegrass at MerleFest, Carolina in The Fall, Blue Bear Music Festival, Appaloosa Festival, Beer & Banjos, Piedmont Folkways, The Willingham Theater, and The Reeves Theater.
