Happy birthday America. July 4 was just the divorce papers. April 19 is the day we threw fists. Now if we just rise against a tyrannical govt instead of each other.

I love some Hank Williams but sweet Doctor was he an emo edgelord.

Hank Williams wrote Hey Good Lookin in 1951 as a gift for Little Jimmie Dickens to record and have a hit with. Hank decides to record and release it before Jimmie can. Jimmie is from around Beckley. A year and a half later Hank dies in Oak Hill. Hmmmmmmmmmm.....

First hit we took was from Ol John Brown
You end up feeling guilty for your god given right
Until half your property flees in the Night

In honor of the South Carolina Snowflakes of April 12 1861. This is satire by the way

If tomorrow all the things were gone
That my slaves worked for all my life
And I had to start again
With just my white children and my wife

I thank my lucky stars
To be living here today
'Cause the flag still stands for white freedom
And they can't take that away

And I'm proud to be a Confederate
Where at least I know they aren't free
And I won't forget the slaves who died
To give that right to me
And I'd gladly stand up over you
And make the white trash defend Her still today
'Cause there ain't no doubt
I love this land
God Bless the C.S.A.

From the lakes of Alabama
To the hills of Tennessee
Across the plains of Texas
From sea to the Mississippi

From Vicksburg down to Nola
And Richmond to Raleigh
There's pride in every Confederate heart
And it's time we stand and say

That I'm proud to be a Confederate
Where at least I know they aren't free
And I won't forget the slaves who died
To give that right to me
And I'd gladly stand up over you
And make the white trash defend Her still today
'Cause there ain't no doubt
I love this land
God Bless the C.S.A.

And I'm proud to be an American
Where at least I know I'm free
And I won't forget the slaves who died
Who gave that right to me
And I'd gladly stand up over you
And make the white trash defend Her still today
'Cause there ain't no doubt
I love this land
God Bless the C.S.A.
