Archer’s passing has left Sherlock alone as they had been partnered together since the passing of Duchess. Sherlock is having a hard time dealing with Archer’s loss, and unlike most male foxes, he does not like females, so another male companion is needed. We are extremely grateful to Kristin for offering one of her babies to be Sherlock’s new companion.

We can’t wait for Lestrade to grow and for him and Sherlock to meet ❤️

We have gotten an abundance of calls over the past two weeks from people asking us to take in wild animals that they have been raising in their homes. Without making an incredibly long post about this, please just keep in mind that taking these animals from the wild is ILLEGAL. I know most of the time your heart is in the right place but unless you are a LICENSED wildlife rehabber you should not be taking in these animals and raising them in your home. It puts their life at risk from feeding them improperly to the consequences that can happen if Florida fish and wildlife finds out that you have these animals.
While I am always willing to help you out if you need to place a captive bred exotic animal I can not legally take in wildlife, though I can point you in the right direction of who to call.
